2010 PW Retreat
Have you met Rhonda Rabbit yet – the mascot for the 2010 WPW Retreat? She was in church Sunday, February 14, to invite all the women of Westminster to William Black Lodge in Montreat, NC - April 23-25. The planning team wants to be sure that every woman (college-age & up) has an opportunity to fellowship together in beautiful mountain surroundings and learn more about “Victorious Christian Living” with Beth Lyle. Beth was the Teaching Director of The Community Bible Study here in Greenwood a few years ago. She is a dynamic speaker and a passionate believer in the power of God’s Word. The schedule includes music, prayer, and activities along with Bible study. Time for recreation is built in for Saturday afternoon – you can choose to relax in the “Spa”, shop in Black Mountain, or just chill-out. Scholarships are available, contact Toni Sample or Holly Hubbard for more information. There are registration forms available on the hallway table near the office. Rhonda hopes that you’ll make time on your April calendar to join us in Montreat.

Just Give Me Jesus……..a night—and—day that will change your life. Join the women of Westminster on March 19 and 20 at the Bi-Lo Center in Greenville. This is a life-changing, two-day revival led by Anne Graham Lotz, accompanied by Jill Briscoe, Fernando Ortega and Stephanie Seefeldt. God will speak to us personally and relevantly as Anne proclaims His Word and leads us in an inductive study of the Scriptures. We will be inspired in prayer with Jill Briscoe and stirred in worship by the music of Fernando Ortega and Stephanie Seefeldt.
**This event takes place on Friday, March 19 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 20 from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
**Following this event, Westminster will offer a follow-up Bible Study on The Vision of His Glory – Finding Hope Through the Revelation of Jesus Christ. This study is open to ALL and will begin on April 5 at 6:30 p.m. for 7 weeks. Please consider joining us for this study. Registration will begin in March. Westminster is a contact church for the follow-up Bible study that participants at the event in Greenville may choose to sign up for in their local area. We will be praying that we will be joined by local friends and neighbors who attended the event and would like to join us for the this study.
**Please keep these dates available and please keep both the event and study in prayer. For more information see the brochures on the hall table or speak with Karla Cox or Katherine Martin.
