A Word from Pastor Debby…
Dear Youth and Parents:
What are you thinking about? School? Friends? Sports? Food? Problems? God? Have you noticed how our thoughts come before our actions? What we think matters! The apostle Paul said, “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” (Phil. 4:8) What are the good things you can think about? How can you think more about God? Other people? The theme of our senior high conference to Panama City, FL this year, “BigStuf,” was “think.” Please join with me this new school year in praising and thanking God each day, thinking about God’s promises, thinking about God more than TV, Facebook, or anything else. If you do, your actions will be different and your life and the lives around you will be touched with the light of Christ. Don’t just stand there, THINK!
